All fans of the game series about the mysterious foggy town are probably aware of the events that took place almost immediately after the release of PT – a special exclusive for consoles, which actually turned out to be a disguised trailer for the new part of Silent Hills. Hideo Kojima, who held one of the central positions in the development process, left Konami, and since the title “Silent Hill” belongs to this company, he could no longer continue to develop the game under this name and in this universe. Why the company did not continue the story, I think, is already known to everyone – they switched to the production of mobile applications. Nevertheless, Hideo Kojima became friends, so to speak, with director Guillermo Del Toro, who made more than one film in the thriller and horror genre, and Norman Reedus, who played the role of the protagonist in the Silent Hills trailer, announced his desire to continue shooting for the unreleased games, so all of us fans have hope that this game will see the light of day. Perhaps it will have a completely different name; perhaps the setting will not be Silent Hill at all and the time will be different, but it still must turn out to be something unique, deep and damn exciting. Most of the game will probably take place indoors, and looped.
