The first spring update to Throne and Liberty brought several expected mechanics and fixes

The first spring update of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty introduced a number of innovations and improvements to the game. Some of them were announced earlier, and some changes came as a surprise.

Automatic matchmaking for dungeons

The new system allows you to match players not only to group dungeons, but also to open dungeons. Players can choose a dungeon and their role in the group, and the system will automatically gather participants. The functionality is currently only valid within your server, and in the future cross-server selection will appear.

The process of selecting players can be tracked in a special menu.

As soon as the group is formed, a confirmation window for entering the dungeon will appear.

Character transfer

From March 6 to March 13, the ability to transfer characters to another server will be available. The entire character can be transferred 2 times within the specified period. To transfer, players must complete all auction operations, collect all rewards and goods, be in a safe zone, leave the guild, and be above level 40. When transferring, all items, chest contents, skills, progress and settings will be transferred along with the character. Only the kill history, ratings, list of “friends” and “enemies”, as well as group chat will be reset. This service is paid and will cost 29,900 South Korean won (~ 2000 rubles).

The developers warn that it will not be possible to transfer the character to a popular and populated server. But the population ranking is updated every day at midnight Seoul time. The procedure itself occurs almost instantly.

Changing a character’s name

Players have repeatedly asked to add the ability to change their nickname, and the developers have added this feature. This procedure can be done no more than once every 30 days, and its cost is 19,900 South Korean won (~1360 rubles). You cannot rename a character during events, castle siege, and battles for Riftstone and Boonstone.

Improvements to the stat system

A surprise for players was the change in bonuses from character characteristics. Now, upon receiving a certain value, the character will receive additional bonuses. Character building has taken on new colors.

Strength:

  • 30 points – maximum health +750
  • 40 points – damage reduction by 15
  • 50 points – chance of double damage (so-called “heavy attack”) +100
  • 60 points – maximum health +900

Dexterity:

  • 30 points – critical hit chance +100
  • 40 points – extra damage + 15
  • 50 points – movement speed +5%
  • 60 points – critical hit chance +120

Wisdom:

  • 30 points – maximum mana +750
  • 40 points – reduction of incoming debuff by 5%
  • 50 points – skill recovery speed (cooldown) +5%
  • 60 points – maximum mana +900

Perception:

  • 30 points – character’s accuracy +100
  • 40 points – increase incoming buffs by 5%
  • 50 points – character attack range +7.5%
  • 60 points – character’s accuracy +100

Return of Gate of Infinity

Gate of Infinity is a single-player, speed-killing boss event. Previously, this mode was criticized due to the imbalance of weapon bundles and was disabled for the duration of the rework. The main innovation of this content was the introduction of ratings for weapon combinations, i.e. “bow + crossbow” compete only with the “bow + crossbow” combination. The number of reward slots has been reduced, but is now available within each weapon bundle.

In addition, some bosses were weakened, and “Rage Mode” was disabled, which was activated after a certain time.

Other game changes

Portals to PvE bosses received visual landmarks so that players would not have problems with cooperation and could get to the desired boss together.

The world bonus received by all players on the server for killing archbosses has been increased:

  • For killing Queen Bellandir, players will receive +25 additional damage against Immortus
  • For killing Tevent players will receive +25 extra damage against Daemonus

If you were in an open dungeon when you exited the game, you will be transported to the nearest Waypoint. And on Saurodoma Island, a treasure chest now appears at night.

Several ground-based character transformations have been updated.

Improved functionality and interface for customizing character appearance. Added display of only purchased items, hiding of the interface, the camera can now be zoomed in and out, and the character can follow the cursor with his eyes.
