Developers from Artificial Core announced the timing and details of the second alpha testing and the start of early access for MMORPG Corepunk. The new phase of alpha testing will take place from May 27 to June 2, 2024, and in about two months the game will be released in early access.
The postponement of the second alpha benefited the game and made it possible to add several systems, including 8 branches of passive talents and 6 branches of weapon specialization improvements. The systems for eating, resting by the fire, and restoring the character’s health have been improved. The world of the game has also changed: new settlements, NPCs and places of interest have been added to it, including those for which you can fight in PvP.
If the second alpha testing is successful, then in about two months the game will be ready for the start of early access. It will feature an updated and expanded crafting system, a “synthesis machine” for changing the characteristics of things, two new large settlements with new biomes, a mount system and much more. The maximum character level has been increased to level 20, and new settlements will be designed for this level. In addition, the game will receive machine text translation into 26 languages, which they plan to improve in the future.
