The version of MMORPG ArcheAge with a Pay-to-Play distribution model called ArcheAge: Unchained has officially ceased to exist. This happened along with a large-scale merger of the servers of the two games, which took place on November 30, 2023 (image below).
If you have already played ArcheAge: Unchained, then your characters will not go anywhere. You will be able to save all your accumulated progress, but in the original free version distributed by Kakao Games. The remaining game time will be converted into a premium subscription with bonus days (20-30%).
As the publishers previously explained, the merger of all servers occurred due to the fact that their population had fallen to a critical point. This step is intended to revive the game, including in PvP and factional confrontation.
