The Korean version of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty has launched a Resistance Event, within which players can receive the necessary resources to learn new skills. This event takes place from Wednesday to Friday every two weeks, and the final ranking is calculated on Saturday based on the results over three days.
Basic rules of this event:
- Any character who has completed the prologue can take part.
- For participation in events in different locations, players will receive special points depending on their success in these events. Only the two highest scores are counted each day.
- You can get more points for events in PvP mode. The amount of points is also affected by the level of the event.
- Events in GvG mode do not provide points to players.
- Every day, the top 500 players can receive a book that can be used to improve any existing skills.
- At the end of three days, the top 500 people will receive a chest containing a book necessary to unlock a new skill.
- In addition to rating rewards, individual rewards for progress in the event are available.
Siege of Stonegard Castle
The exact date and time of the first sieges of the castle became known:
- February 2 at 15:00 Moscow time – Stonegard, Aaron, Callis.
- February 3 at 15:00 Moscow time – Asota, Crimson, Einar.
- February 3 at 15:00 Moscow time – DaVinci, Lunar, Fonsine, Bercant.
The developers remind you that the castle siege is large-scale PvP content between guilds and alliances. The Legion, which is the name of the guild that owns the castle, must hold the castle for 45 minutes, which lasts the active phase of the siege.
The besieging guilds will have to overcome the outer and inner walls, and then take control of the throne room. The head of the guild must interact with the throne and transform into the “Usurper”, after which a three-minute countdown will begin before the castle is captured. If successful, the owner will change, but the siege will not end, and other participants can compete for the throne.
Thanks to the Plunder mechanic, all besiegers lay claim to a portion of the castle’s treasury. On the territory of the castle there are 5 captured points, which every 5 minutes are credited to the treasury of the clan that controls them, a small percentage of the available amount of lucents and solantes in the castle’s treasury.
At the first siege, 40% of the total amount stored in the castle will be available, and the remaining 60% will become a reward for subsequent sieges. Of this 40%, half will go to the castle owner after the siege, and half will be distributed through the Plunder mechanic. For example, on the Stonegard server, 1 million 576 thousand lucents are stored in the treasury. Of these, after the siege, 630 thousand will be distributed: 315 thousand to the final owner of the castle and 315 thousand will be “plundered”.
After the end of the siege, the Legion can divide the taxes received between allied guilds.
Major changes in the patch
Briefly about the main changes in the patch dated January 24, 2024:
- The simultaneous number of events has been increased to 9. Of these, three will always be in PvP mode.
- The number of guilds that can be added to the “hostile” and “monitored” lists has been increased from 10 to 40.
- Changes have been made to some character skills and equipment.
- The drop from mobs in some low-level locations has been changed: now they drop materials for crafting, rather than ready-made items. Most likely, with this step the developers want to reduce the point of using macros, since crafted items for the most part are not transferred through an auction.
- A number of adjustments and changes have been made to cooperative dungeons, daily quests, user interface, story and side quests, and the behavior of world and archbosses.
