The developers of the third-person action game God of War Ragnarök have released a free Valhalla add-on, announced at The Game Awards 2023. It is available to all owners of the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 after installation from the store PlayStation Store.
Valhalla adds a new Roguelike-style mode to the game, which serves as the epilogue to the campaign. You can choose it at any time, although the developers recommend completing the main story first to avoid spoilers. Before passing, you can select the difficulty level, which determines the value of the reward.
As of November 19, 2023, God of War Ragnarök has sold over 15 million copies. The developers released this free DLC to express their “appreciation for the incredible support and love” that players have shown since the game’s release last year.
