The developers of the shooter EVE Vanguard summed up the results of the past alpha testing and shared plans for the first half of 2024. Thus, it became known that the next playtest will take place from January 25 to 29, 2024.

The entire first half of 2024 will be full of events and various tests. A small functional update will be released in March, which will add the ability to extract resources and complete new types of contracts. In June we can expect a major update with a new battlefield, a new map and a weapon modification feature.

Talking about the results of the past alpha testing, the developers provided statistics from which it follows that 359,736 combat clones went to the planet and spent 34,964 hours on the front lines. At the same time, exactly 900 people died as a result of friendly fire! A total of 136,789 players died, of which 104,742 were killed in PvP. And 1,626 people were killed by the top three in terms of the number of kills.

During the test, players actively shared their impressions of the project:

  • Optimization and game performance at a high level.
  • The overall atmosphere of the game received many positive reviews, including the environment, effects, sound and how the map felt like it was part of New Eden.
  • Combat and gunplay were rated “good”.
