Cataclysm has entered the closed beta phase

Blizzard has announced the start of closed beta testing of the MMORPG World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic. Only users who have received invitations can take part in this stage. If you have not submitted an application, you can still do so at official website.

“From the fires of destruction, a new Azeroth will arise. After the cataclysmic invasion of Deathwing the Destroyer left a festering wound across Azeroth, heroes are once again called upon to face a radically renewed Azeroth and protect it from complete devastation,” the announcement reads.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic will allow players to revisit the familiar expansion with new quality of life changes including faster content delivery, an improved leveling experience, an enhanced collections UI, and more. Access requires only a subscription, but if you wish, you can purchase the Blazing Heroic Pack ($29.99) with additional cosmetic items or the Blazing Epic Upgrade ($79.99), which also includes a boost to level 80 and a 30-day subscription.
