Just the other day, the developers of the multiplayer third-person shooter Marvel Rivals announced the start date of the first closed beta testing, and now they have shared new details. We have collected everything you need to know about the upcoming stage in this article.
- Marvel Rivals closed alpha testing will begin on May 11 (03:00 UTC) and will last until May 21 (09:59 UTC).
- This stage will take place only on PC, and invitations will be sent randomly to players whose computers meet the recommended system requirements (see below).
- During the alpha, 19 superheroes and villains will be available to choose from: Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Groot, Hela, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Luna Snow, Magik, Magneto, Mantis, Namor, Peni Parker, Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, Star-Lord , Storm, Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man.
- There will be three modes: Convoy, Domination and Convergence.
- Players will be able to evaluate three maps: GGSGARD: YGGDRASILL PATH, YGGSGARD: ROYAL PALACE and TOKYO 2099: SHIN-SHIBUYA.
- New heroes, maps and gameplay features are under development. The authors hope to include them in future tests.
- This test is aimed at improving game modes, improving gameplay and checking all technical details.

- Only 30 thousand people will be invited to the first alpha test.
