Chronicles unveils update plan for 2024

Com2uS has presented an update plan for the free cross-platform MMORPG Summoners War: Chronicles for 2024. In the published video, the game producer thanked the players for supporting the project in 2023 and talked about plans for the next year.

In January 2024, a new Assassin Summoner named Heathe will appear in the game, whose distinctive feature will be the skill of invisibility. Next, a 5-star monster Fairy King will be added, which can be summoned to help in battles. Three new dungeons will appear, focused on fighting monsters. Weekly Dungeon Rankings will be added to provide more competition between players and an incentive to develop their Summoners.

Currently, the Korean version of the game receives updates before the global version, but it is expected that on January 25th the different versions will be synchronized into one build. The development team strives to ensure that there are no delays in receiving updates between regions and no differences. This will primarily affect the PvP arena: in the global version, battles are carried out in manual mode, and in the Korean version – in automatic mode. It was decided that the arena will inherit the Korean version, but it will remain possible to enable manual mode.

In February, the account level reward system will receive an update. Now it will include more cosmetic elements that can highlight your progress in the game. Details will appear closer to the update of this system.

In February, you can expect a new monster, the Unicorn, and a “monster collection” system that will provide valuable rewards and stats.

March 2024 marks one year since the launch of the global version, and the developers are preparing for a grand anniversary celebration. A new mini-game is currently being developed specifically for this event. There will also be an event that allows you to get monsters from the early period of the game, and a collaboration with Japanese anime.

The new world boss will be different from the previous ones, as the developers have changed their approach to developing this content. Details should be expected in March.

In the second quarter, the Asian and Korean servers are expected to merge into one region, a new world boss, personal home ownership, a tournament and a heroic raid.

In the third quarter, a new continent will appear with dungeons and raid bosses, there will be a celebration of the second anniversary of the game’s launch in South Korea, and a new collaboration with Japanese anime.

In the fourth quarter, a new Summoner will appear, armed with a greatsword. At the moment there is no detailed information about him, and it is not even known whether this character will be female or male.
