Destiny 2 Final Form release delayed to June 2024 – But players won’t be left without content

Bungie has officially confirmed the rumors previously published by Bloomberg. The release of the major expansion “Final Form” for the MMO shooter Destiny 2 will indeed not take place on February 27, 2024, as previously announced. Instead, the developers are going to release the update only on June 4, 2024.

As Bungie explained, Final Form is intended to be the culmination of Destiny’s first ten years of story, so they need more time to work on it to make it even more impressive and expansive.

However, Destiny 2 players will still not be left without content. In February, they will receive new weekly quests tied to game progress, as well as Moments of Triumph with unique rewards. In March, the Guardian Games will be held, during which the authors will continue to develop the idea of rivalry between classes. In April, the “Towards the Light” update will be released, designed for two months, which will allow you to prepare for the journey into the depths of the Wanderer. A set of three new cards for PvP is expected to be released in May.
