Deadstep is a psychological horror game with an expressive atmosphere of Hollywood horror, stylish set design and linear storytelling centered around survival in an old mansion. Creaky floorboards, doors swinging open in a draft, wind whistling in the attic – and a minute spent in a virtual estate is enough to search for pills from impending panic.

And after an hour on the head the hair stands on end – the developers from Sangwoon Jin are too natural to convey the atmosphere of mysticism and horror that reigns around. The gameplay, despite the pounding heart, is very meditative – 90% of the time you have to wander through the corridors and rooms, collect items, read notes and listen to the rustles around.

A little later, secondary goals will appear, and at the same time, the need to hide from the ghost wandering the floors. Unclean power in horror does not appear regularly, but at the call of the heart – sometimes even after half an hour the chance to face a kind of enemy approaches zero. But there are also opposite situations – screams, groans and faces that appear in the dark and are highlighted by pain and despair.
