Dungeon Rats is a hardcore and unforgiving RPG with turn-based battles and an uncompromising medieval atmosphere that turns every encounter with opponents into a bloody mess with torn arteries and broken limbs.

But cruelty is just the tip of the iceberg: the developers from Iron Tower Studio have additionally inflated the complexity (resources, medicines and equipment are always in short supply – you literally have to interrupt with “handouts” from the side and rely solely on imagination) and added gloom to every virtual corner. Darkness makes its way from everywhere and, if you do not start the battle immediately, then the recruited team of heroes will hardly get to the next torch.

The story is told in the strategy from the perspective of the prisoners who broke down the cell door and decided to move through the dungeon to freedom. But the trouble is – there are plenty of guards, predators and traps on the way, and therefore every careless action leads to the inevitable death of a part of the team. And death in many cases is lethal – a bleeding ally cannot be saved either with medicinal ointments or magic, which is officially prohibited and unacceptable deep underground …
