Hardcore extraction first-person shooter Gray Zone Warfare continues to celebrate success. The developers announced via their X/Twitter account that more than 500 thousand people purchased the game in four days since its early access release.

“More than 500,000 PMC members are now in Lamanga. These three days were very eventful. We are eternally grateful to everyone who joined #GrayZoneWarfare. Our commitment remains unwavering and we move forward with determination as we understand that #EveryStepMatters #GZW,” the statement read.

However, despite high sales, reviews of the game on Steam remain mixed. Users complain about terrible optimization, due to which even owners of top configurations experience FPS drops. However, the average number of players varies from 25,000 to 60,000, depending on the time of day.

Gray Zone Warfare is a hardcore tactical first-person shooter about the confrontation between private military companies on an island in Southeast Asia. The game offers an open world of 42 km², hundreds of tasks, a large set of equipment and customizable weapons, as well as gaming sessions for 48 people. You can choose from such modes as PvPvE, in which there is a confrontation between factions, and PvE, where only bots are the opponents.
