Fans are disappointed with the gameplay shown in MMORPG Blade & Soul NEO Classic

NCSOFT has published two trailers for the upcoming “neoclassical” version of the MMORPG Blade & Soul. The first one lasts almost two and a half minutes and allows you to look at battles with different classes and different sets of items. The second one demonstrates a team battle with a boss in one of the dungeons.

Unfortunately, not all users were impressed by what they saw. As many noted in the comments, the game is not at all similar to the old Blade & Soul, since some of the skills were taken from the modern version.

“The classics won’t work either. Why do this if the skills are not classical?”

“Is this a classic? All skills are now mixed with Blade & Soul skills.”

“The skills should be the same as they were then…”

“Why can’t you just transfer skills from 2.0-2.5 as is?”

It seems that the developers of Blade & Soul NEO Classic decided not only to re-release one of the first versions, but also to make some improvements. Hence the name. Therefore, those who simply wanted to be nostalgic and look at the game as it was, these changes may be disappointing.

The release date for Blade & Soul NEO Classic is currently unknown.
