Halo Wars is a real-time strategy game created for the Xbox 360 by Ensemble Studios. Its action takes place in the Halo universe.

Humans have access to fewer soldiers than the Covenant and less advanced technology, but human troops are more versatile. For example, human paratroopers are an anti-personnel type of troops, but they also know how to use anti-tank missiles. Some troops and all Covenant bases have access to energy shields

The events of the game take place 20 years before the events of the game “Halo: Combat Evolved”. The human ship “Spirit of Fire” was sent by the United Nations Space Command to investigate and stop the actions of the Covenant on the planet Harvest, formerly inhabited by humans and becoming the site of their first contact with aliens. Upon discovering a strange Covenant excavation led by a certain Arbiter, James Cutter, the captain of the ship, sent his soldiers to find out the details of what was happening. In the course of the story, the player passes through several worlds.
