The authors of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty continue to publish video guides introducing users to the game mechanics. This time we will talk about collecting items, enhancing equipment and character skills.
Equipment in the game is obtained in different ways: through quests, dropped from killed mobs, or created from resources. In each recipe for creating an item, you can familiarize yourself with the necessary resources and find out where they can be obtained.
Most things can be added to the collection and you can get a useful reward for it. In cross-platform games from NCSOFT, such collections provided boosts for the character, but in Throne and Liberty they decided to abandon this, and the rewards are resources for crafting and strengthening equipment.
The maximum level of improvement depends on the quality of the item. For example, a gray item can only be sharpened to +3, and a green item to +6.
Each grade of weapon requires a corresponding quality of items for sharpening. Fortunately, items can be either combined to obtain the next level, or dispersed into less valuable items. There are 4 levels of items in total, and they are divided by the type of items that can be improved: for weapons, for equipment and for jewelry.
A distinctive feature of improving equipment in Throne and Liberty is the 100% chance of success, as well as the transfer of progress to another item. You can start playing with a green sword, improve it, and later change the weapon and transfer all the progress. With this decision, the developers give players freedom to change their class and play style. However, be careful, because old weapons are destroyed after progress is transferred.
The character’s skills are strengthened in a similar way: during the game we receive items in the form of books and strengthen the necessary skill. The level and grade of a skill can be seen on its icon. After reaching the maximum level, you can improve the quality of the skill and gain additional features.
Please note that there is a slight randomness in skill improvement and there is variation in the degree to which progress is completed.

The game will be released in South Korea on December 7 at 14:00 Moscow time, and a global release should be expected in the first half of 2024.
