Pearl Abyss has released an update for the MMORPG Black Desert, adding the so-called “Ancient Anvil” system, designed to make the character development process much more enjoyable. Each item now has a kind of guarantee for improvement.
The operating principle of the new system is simple. With each unsuccessful enchanting of equipment, “Essence of Agris” will accumulate, the amount of which depends on the item. Once it reaches a certain value, the next boost will work with 100% probability.
For each item, essence is usually accumulated separately, with the exception of those that are in the same group and have the same enhancement level. For example, the essence of the Black Star Greatsword can be applied to another Black Star weapon of the same enhancement level, such as the Black Star Greatbow.
