NCSOFT has announced that you can now access the MMORPG Throne and Liberty from mobile devices and regular browsers. To do this you need to install the application Purple and remotely connect to the PC running the game. This functionality was announced only for the Korean version, and it is unknown whether this feature will appear in the global version.
Thanks to the Purple service, players can get a number of opportunities:
- Play from mobile platforms using streaming.
- Launch, shutdown and update the game.
- Receive important game messages via push notifications in real time.
- Implemented touch character control.
- You can connect a Bluetooth keyboard for comfortable character control.
Even at the stage of creating the game, the developers announced the addition of such a feature, but due to the reworking of the game they abandoned it. However, 4 months after the release, they finally implemented this functionality.
Purple is a cross-platform application for PC and mobile platforms with wide capabilities: launching games, text and voice communication between players, prompt news tracking, remote game control, streaming, store and much more. In South Korea, it has been used for several years to launch the company’s cross-platform projects, and since 2023, the application has become a unified platform for all games published in the country.
