Last year, classic servers were introduced for the Chinese version of the MMORPG Tower of Fantasy. However, now the developers have confirmed that they will be added to the global version of the game. There are no exact dates yet, but it should happen later this year.
It is worth noting that classic servers in Tower of Fantasy are quite different from what we are used to seeing in other MMORPGs. Instead of being able to play the very first version of the game, the developers are offering lightweight gameplay based on player feedback. They found certain content to be too tedious, difficult, or frustrating. New servers should solve these problems for them. For example, exploring the world has become easier, some minor characteristics have been removed and the element of randomness in leveling up has been reduced, daily activities have been simplified, and so on.
It is worth noting that progress on classic servers is separate, so if you want to switch to them, you will have to start all over again.
