NIKKE and Stellar Blade are developing a new cross-platform game

The South Korean company Shift Up is looking for employees to create a new cross-platform game. Among the vacancies on the site, along with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Stellar Blade, there was a place for a new project, which is described as a “cross platform next-gen project.” Currently looking for a technical artist, monster concept artist, character concept artist, animator and screenwriter.

From the job description it becomes clear that the new project is being developed for PC, consoles and mobile platforms. The engine used is Unreal Engine, but, unfortunately, the exact version is not specified. Artists are required to have experience working in an animation/cartoon style, with experience working with science fiction and mechanical monsters a plus.

The screenwriter will write the main and additional plot for the “sci-fi role-playing game.” Advantages include experience adapting original works and writing scripts with multiple characters.

Interestingly, Stellar Blade also has several vacancies open. Either they forgot to close them, or the project will be supported for some time after release, and the game may receive a full-fledged DLC.
