ATLUS, known for the Persona series, has announced the exact release date for its upcoming jRPG called Metaphor: ReFantazio. The game will be released on October 11, 2024 and will be available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will retail for $69.99 for the physical and digital Standard Edition and $149.99 for the physical Collector’s Edition. The latter includes the base game for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series, steelbook, official soundtrack, art book, Homo Tenta metal pins, sticker sheet, map of the Kingdom of Euchronia, voucher for the Costume and Battle Background Music Pack downloadable content, digital history book ATLUS, ATLUS 35th Anniversary All-Time Best Digital Soundtrack and Pre-Order Bonus Voucher.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is a Japanese role-playing game set in a world where reality and fantasy intertwine. Players will have to assemble a team of unique characters to fight powerful enemies and save the world from destruction. As in the Persona series from the same developers, the combat system here is turn-based.
