Survival simulator Nightingale, recently released in early access, requires a constant Internet connection even when playing in single player mode. As the developers explained, co-op gameplay involving having party members across multiple kingdoms was a technical challenge, so they decided to tackle it first. However, the team now admits that they underestimated the wishes of the players.

After numerous requests, the studio Inflexion Games decided to take the offline mode as a priority in order to release it as soon as possible. The exact date of its appearance is still unknown, but the developers asked to stay tuned for news in the coming weeks.

The studio also clarified that the change in priorities will not affect the development of other updates, including adding new content, improving quality of life, fixing bugs, and so on. They promise to reveal details about them in the coming days.
