The last issue of the Frozen Flame sandbox developer diaries was published back in September last year, and since then there has been no news about the game. Many users decided that the project was completely canceled and left negative reviews on Steam, which is why the already low rating fell even lower. Fortunately, the silence was broken, and Dreamside Interactive studio finally presented the next update.
In the upcoming update, players can expect the following:
- Portal to the next biome with new enemies, items and armor.
- Accelerated and improved combat system
- Ability Tree Update
- Game Balance Update
- Fixes based on player feedback (bird flight fixes, loot pickup fixes, etc.)
In addition, the developers have decided to completely shift the focus to cooperative PVE adventures, possibly with additional PVP arenas. Each game world will have its own “irreversible” state with gradually increasing difficulty. This change is intended to reduce the amount of grinding and introduce more new activities and challenges. This will remove official PVP servers from the game, but players will still be able to create custom servers with their own rules.
Also this spring, a free demo of Frozen Flame will be released, and the price of the game will be reduced. Users who have previously purchased the project will receive DLC with special items as a gift.
