The reason was accusations from NEXON of copyright infringement. And if the fate of the Steam version of the project still remains unknown, then there seem to be no problems with the Epic Games Store. The developers reported that the game will soon appear in this store.
According to IRONMACE studio representatives, they have already begun preparations to present Dark and Darker to a wider audience. As a first step, a store page was opened on the Epic Games Store. Therefore, it is possible that in the future the game will appear on Steam.
