Mainframe Industries studio has launched closed alpha testing of an MMORPG with sandbox elements called Pax Dei. For the first time, the stage is taking place without a non-disclosure agreement, which means fresh gameplay videos should appear online in the near future. So, finally, we will be able to look beyond the screenshots that developers regularly shared.
Pax Dei’s closed alpha testing, dubbed Home Valley, focuses on peaceful gameplay. Participants can explore a huge world of 300 km² (double the size of pre-alpha), divided into four provinces. Players also have the opportunity to build a house using dozens of building parts, collect resources, engage in crafting and join clans. This stage will end on November 27, at 13:00 Moscow time, after which all accumulated progress will be erased.
System requirements for the alpha version are as follows (may change in the future):
- OS: Windows 10 and DirectX 12
- RAM: 16 GB
- Video card: Nvidia RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5500 XT
- Free memory: 70 GB SSD
It’s worth noting that applications for Pax Dei alpha testing were only available until November 12, and there are no new ways to get to this stage yet.
