The legendary Contra classic side-scrolling shooter series is back on mobile. On July 26, 2021, a new part called Contra Returns will be released on the global market. Previously, the game was only available in Southeast Asia, and with English support. However, now users will be able to download the client directly from the stores and play with normal ping.
“What does ping have to do with it?” – you ask? The fact is that Contra Returns is completely tied to online and includes not only single missions, but also modes for co-op and PvP battles. There is a progression system that allows you to unlock new heroes and weapons. At the same time, the gameplay of “Contra” remained recognizable.
On the Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS) stores, you can now pre-register for Contra Returns to receive various post-launch rewards.
