Planet Earth is in great danger. The American government is becoming aware of the impending catastrophe on a global scale. The danger comes from another civilization that lives within the distant planet Adelpha. In an attempt to reestablish contact with members of a different race, the authorities launch a special sensor. However, the local population destroys the unidentified object, causing the program to crash. Now the probe will perform the opposite action and soon a powerful energy explosion will occur, which will destroy two planets at once.

In an attempt to prevent a global catastrophe and save the lives of two civilizations, a brave soldier of a military unit, Cutter Slade, is sent to find the device. He needs to land in Adelpha orbit and fix the breakdown of the mechanism. To do this, the soldier will have to go on a journey through uncharted territories in order to explore the terrain and search for a sensor. In Outcast Second Contact, the hero will encounter dangerous enemies and cruel tyrants who keep peaceful people at bay. The player must try to free the inhabitants from oppression and complete an important mission. The fate and future of the two worlds will depend on his success.
