Painkiller is a fast-paced shooter where the main characters get into a car accident. They find themselves at the crossroads between the wonderful gates of Paradise and a terrible descent straight into the inferno of Hell. Your character, Daniel, has lost sight of his wife, and now he will have to make a deal with an angel in order to return his beloved and go to heaven. He must destroy the generals of Lucifer, preparing the invasion of demons and prevent a catastrophe on a global scale.

You have to go through many levels, the task of each of which is to completely destroy the undead. After killing each of the opponents, there are some kind of clots of energy that must be collected. Having accumulated a certain amount of these souls, your hero is able to switch to a unique demon mode and become completely invulnerable to his enemies.

During this unusual journey, you will pass through abandoned castles, monasteries, abandoned dungeons and other mysterious locations. Your hero will fight whole armies of demons, zombies, skeletons, black monks and samurai. Each of these enemies differs in their own strength, and at the end of the chapter you will find a grandiose boss battle.
