Two days before the release of the major update 2.2 “Awake, cry!” For the turn-based role-playing game Honkai: Star Rail, the developers have opened access to pre-loading. You can download the necessary update files in advance so as not to waste time on this later.
As always, pre-loading is only available on PC and mobile devices running iOS and Android. There is no such option on consoles.
To download the update you must do the following:
- PC – Open the bootloader on your PC. On the left side of the “Start Game” button you will find a “Preload Game” button. Click “Get” to start downloading.
- iOS, Android – Start the game. A “Preload Resources” button will appear in the lower right corner of the game login screen. Click on it to start downloading.
Update 2.2 for Honkai: Star Rail will release on May 8, 2024 and will add a new storyline, new characters, new events and more to the game. You can find out more details at this link.
