The map above shows the location of Playboy magazines in New Bordeaux in Mafia III. There are 50 magazines in the game. Each point has a short description with tips related to finding the exact location of the secret. After collecting the magazine, you can see it in the secrets window (cover plus one or more pages).
Magazine 7 (October 1965)
Finding this magazine can be very troublesome. It is located inside the building (more precisely, a large trailer) marked on the map. The main problem is that the object is located on the site of the police station.
On the way to the secret, you must pass through a small gatehouse.
You can get to the magazine by killing all the law enforcement officers on your way, but it will be quite difficult and you will have to be ready to meet some reinforcements. Better sneak up there. Start at the gatehouse located next to the closed gate. Use the whistle to lure nearby officers. Then quickly enter the gatehouse and then go to the large field.
Before entering a building with a secret, make sure that no officer is looking in Lincoln’s direction. The magazine can be found in the location shown in the picture. After collecting it, quickly leave the station so that no one kills you.
Journal 20 (May 1967)
The secret lies on a workshop table in a large building in a junkyard.
The magazine is located in the main building of Burke’s Iron & Metal. At first, the building is locked down and you can only access it after you meet Burke and recruit him in the Run and Run story mission.
Magazine 25 (May 1966)

This journal is a bit harder to find, even if you find it on the map. First you must use the ladder to get to the roof of one of the buildings. Once you are there, open the yellow door shown in the picture. Behind them you will find a secret.
Journal 31 (November 1966)
It’s hard to find this magazine, as it’s in the sewers under the City Center. You can reach the network of underground tunnels using several different methods. The easiest way is to go north and find the entrance shown in the picture. Here you can use the boat or wall run.
Follow the tunnel to the south. After a few seconds, you will find the area with the magazine shown in the picture.
Magazine 38 (November 1968)

The log is easy to spot, but you might have trouble signing in. You must enter the narrow alley shown above – it will lead you to a small courtyard. The secret is in the area covered by the roof.
