Metal Gear Solid remake could be exclusive to PlayStation 5

Metal Gear Solid is the first game led by Hideo Kojima to be released on the PlayStation 1. Since then, a lot of water has flown under the bridge, the “genius” has released a Death Stranding courier simulator, but KONAMI continues to hold on to the Metal Gear franchise.

So here it is big insider, which previously predicted the arrival of colorful DualSense and upcoming games for PS Plus subscribers, announced the creation of a remake of the very first Metal Gear Solid. So far, there is no official information, so please take this news with a grain of salt.

So far, it is known that the Metal Gear Solid remake will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5, which should speed up the transition from the consoles of the past to the current generation. If the rumors turn out to be true, then the announcement should take place in the near future, maybe even before the end of 2022, but hardly at The Game Awards 2022.

As for the release date of the Metal Gear Solid remake, in this case everything is also vague, as with the “re-release” Silent Hill 2 – insiders do not know if the game will be released in 2023 or 2024.
