The long and protracted war between Microsoft and Apple is coming to an end and all thanks to web applications: the green corporation managed to bypass the App Store rules to launch Microsoft xCloud on iOS. This is a beta test so far, but is available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers in supported countries (here list, xCloud is not available in Russia). In addition to iOS gamers, the beta version is also available for Windows 10. Microsoft cloud gaming servers are made on the basis of the hardware found in the Xbox Series X. At the same time, even in supported countries, players say that a lot depends on a stable Internet.
But even if you meet the above requirements, you need to know about the system requirements: for iOS, you need to have at least an iPhone XR or iPad Air 3rd generation. Plus your OS must be version 14.4 or higher. To connect the controllers, you need to have Bluetooth 4 or newer, and the Internet speed should be 10 Mbps for the iPhone and 20 Mbps for the iPad (Wi-Fi at 5 GHz is best suited).
If you checked all the boxes, then congratulations: you can safely download the Xbox Game Pass app and turn up the Game Pass Ultimate subscription, the price of which for the first three months is $ 1.
