Remember FAR: Lone Sails? This is a meditative adventure on a ship that “floats” on the dried-up bottom of the ocean. Now it’s worth waiting for a new part, FAR: Changing Tides. Based on the trailer, this time we’re going to swim. According to the plot, we woke up in a flooded city, where the only refuge is an abandoned ship. Players will have to solve puzzles both on the surface and under water. This is necessary in order to extract any trash, fuel and even ancient artifacts.
The developers say that there will be no dialogue in Changing Tides, and the gameplay is available to everyone. The main goal is to enjoy the scenery and music. By the way, the project is positioned more as a sister of Lone Sails, and not a direct sequel. We are promised improved graphics compared to the previous part.
FAR: Changing Tides is coming to PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The release date is the end of 2021. Nothing is known about smartphones yet, but Lone Sails was eventually ported to iOS and Android, so it’s only a matter of time.
