Psyonix has officially announced Rocket League Sideswipe, a free mobile adaptation of the popular multiplayer game Rocket League. In the debut trailer, you can see the gameplay, which has undergone major changes in comparison with the “older” version. The camera is now positioned to the side, and not from the third person.
There are two main modes to choose from in Rocket League Sideswipe: 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2. Depending on the map, the ball must be thrown either into a narrow but high goal or into a basketball hoop. They promise short matches, lasting about two minutes.
Rocket League Sideswipe is currently in regional closed alpha testing in Australia and New Zealand. The release will take place in 2021.
