Scars Above is a third-person action game in which we play as astronaut Keith, who finds herself on an unknown planet. There are many mutants from whom you need to shoot. Also indie developers from Mad Head Games have prepared some puzzles. The interface is laconic and looks stylish, reminiscent of the restart of Tomb Raider. As you progress, we collect materials that are used to create and pump equipment.
The plot revolves around an ancient civilization that built futuristic and strange buildings on an alien planet. Sometimes we will encounter mini-bosses from which rolls help. You can also scan the bodies of frozen mutants with working organs. YouTube commentators notice that the alpha gameplay trailer is lacking in animations. The game also reminds them of Returnal.
Scars Above will be released on PC and consoles in 2022. There are no specific platforms or dates. The developers promise a believable story, but without super realism.
