The Division Heartland
Ubisoft has announced a free PvEvP shooter The Division Heartland in 2021. And then it was assumed that the release would take place in the coming year on PC (Ubisoft Store), PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. But these plans were not destined to come true. The game is still in development and only occasionally carries out new stages of testing, and the release date has been shifted somewhere to 2024.
The events of the game will unfold in the mysterious town of Silver Creek (literally “Silver Brook”), where the danger is posed by rogue agents and an aggressive gang of surviving nomads. In addition, the “Green Poison” virus, also called the “dollar flu”, poses a great danger to players.
The gameplay is familiar to all fans of extraction shooters: we go on a mission, complete tasks, collect useful materials, fight with NPCs and other players. It is important to remember that when a character dies, all equipment is lost, so it is worth thinking about a successful evacuation. According to the developers, the system for changing the time of day will affect both opponents and potential rewards.
Off The Grid
The battle royale Off The Grid attracts attention not only with high-quality graphics on Unreal Engine 5, but also with a non-standard system for presenting the game plot and content. The developers promise up to 60 hours of story-driven campaign that will unfold on a large map of a tropical island. Players will have to complete story missions and confront not only NPCs, but also other players, of whom there can be up to 150 in one match. Different teams of players can receive similar or opposite tasks, which will create unique situations in the game.
Changing cybernetic body parts, moving on vehicles, vertical gameplay, unique character abilities, a wide selection of weapons – all this will allow players to choose their own playstyle and take a creative approach to completing missions.
The project has passed several stages of internal testing, including with the involvement of bloggers, and plans to appear before players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2024.
EVE Vanguard
EVE Vanguard is an extraction shooter for PC that is tightly integrated into the MMORPG EVE Online. This is not the first time that developers from CCP Games are trying to create a new game based on the famous franchise, but previous attempts have not been successful.
Players will have to participate in raids to search for loot and extract resources, as well as confront bots and real players. The main difference from games of a similar genre is the interdependence with events in Eve Online. We may find ourselves on a planet that is captured by NPC pirates, and after some time liberate it through the efforts of players from two games. It is possible to find yourself in the location where the player’s destroyed ship from Eve Online fell. The game economy will be inextricably linked, so you can extract resources in a shooter and use them in an MMORPG, as well as complete special contracts that can turn the tide of battle.
ARC Raiders
ARC Raiders was previously developed as a co-op, story-driven shooter. But the developers from Embark Studios abandoned this idea. Now the game has become a third-person extraction shooter.
Events unfold on an Earth devastated by robots. The gameplay looks familiar and familiar to all players of this genre: we collect useful resources and things, do not trust other players, complete quests, earn a reputation, and successfully evacuate from the raid. But the game captivates with its setting and unusual robots, called ARC, which will be found on spacious maps.

WARHAMMER 40000: Space Marine 2

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a direct continuation of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, released in 2011.
Thanks to their own Swarm Engine, the developers from Saber Interactive were able to implement real mass slaughter with dozens and hundreds of different opponents. To destroy them, the game will offer a wide selection of weapons: several types of firearms, melee weapons and the own forces of a genetically modified space marine. Rivers of blood, spectacular finishing moves and dismemberment are included. The cooperative mode will allow you to go through the story campaign with two friends. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in the second half of 2024.
The First Descendant
The third-person looter shooter The First Descendant is being created by the South Korean studio NAT Games under the leadership of Nexon. Previously, it was assumed that the game would be released before the end of 2023, but the developers decided to postpone the release to 2024 in order to have time to correct all the comments received during the cross-platform test.
The game takes place in a futuristic world in which humanity is on the verge of destruction by alien invaders. It is known that there will be more than 10 characters, 50 types of weapons and more than 300 modules for them to choose from. The content and tasks of the game are designed for playing in a party, and the high-end is focused on killing various bosses, where the coordinated work of the entire party is important.
The developers paid great attention to the movement of the characters: the grappling hook and the parkour system allow for dynamic movement in the game. But they don’t plan to stop there and announced that they will add new mechanics to the release. The game will be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4/5, XBOX One and Xbox Series X|S.
PIONER
The MMO shooter PIONER for PC and current generation consoles, developed by the Russian studio GFAGames, is imbued with the spirit of post-apocalypse and hopelessness: rusting Soviet factories, cars growing into the ground, abandoned settlements and various monsters. The events take place on a Soviet island, which is isolated from the mainland by a large-scale man-made anomaly. You need to not only find out the causes of this anomaly, but also find survivors. It is worth noting that this is not an extraction shooter, as it might seem at first glance, but rather an MMORPG with a full-fledged shooting system.
The game world is divided into regions that can be freely explored after completing the starting tasks. The developers are not chasing scale and are focused on filling the world with activities. Progression in the world of PIONER is largely related to progress in exploring the island. The player will repeatedly have to play the role of a pioneer. As you explore the world, full-fledged raids will become available, which can be launched through a special interface.
Delta Force: Hawk Ops
The online shooter Delta Force: Hawk Ops is a reboot of the famous Delta Force franchise. The developers are targeting a wide audience, as they are preparing several game modes and support for a variety of gaming platforms, including mobile devices. At the moment, three modes are known: a story campaign, large-scale multiplayer battles and an extraction mode for teams of three people.
The game will focus on modern warfare, and players will be able to access a variety of weapons, from the AK-12 and M4A1 to the Abrams M1 tank and the A-10 attack aircraft. To create believable animations and game images, the developers involved actors and directors familiar with military topics, as well as former military personnel.
Pre-alpha testing has already taken place in China, and several stages of testing are planned for the first half of 2024, including a large-scale international test. The release should be expected in the second half of 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android.

LLL is a futuristic third-person shooter in an open world with procedural generation elements from the South Korean company NCSOFT. According to the developers, they strive to create a unique game that will become a new word in the genre and attract the attention of players all over the world. This is the first game of the famous Korean company in the shooter genre, developed for PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
The events will unfold in the destroyed Seoul of the 23rd century and the developers have put a lot of effort into recreating the city. This included scanning many key buildings and landmarks in the city and its environs. The total size of the game map reaches thirty square kilometers and the game will offer air and ground transport, including combat mechs, for movement. Players will have access to not only futuristic weapons, but also a variety of gadgets: an invisibility cloak, a scanning system, medical drones, and protective energy barriers.
THE FINALS
The team shooter THE FINALS attracts attention not only with its gameplay, but also with its developers. The project is being developed by Embark Studios, which includes DICE veterans who worked on the Battlefield series.
The developers tried to bring something new to the online shooter genre, and judging by the impressions of beta testers, they succeeded. The main goal for a team of three is to earn a certain amount of money faster than other teams. You can get money both for killing opponents and for completing various tasks.
The game boasts high destructibility: take a grenade launcher and simply blow up a wall, or mine a building and blow it up so that it folds like a house of cards. The system of classes and arsenal of weapons will allow you to play different roles: an accurate sniper, an armored grenade launcher or a nimble assassin with a katana.
After open testing in October, THE FINALS became the most desired game on Steam. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and could become one of the most popular games in 2024.
