Bang-on Balls Cronicles is an indie project that went into Early Access in March 2021. The release of the full version is scheduled for 2022. The game is made on the Unreal Engine in the platformer genre, where the player controls “country balloons” – a kind of koloboks painted in the colors of the flags of various countries. The game was inspired by a meme that originated on a German anonymous forum. Today “country balls”, or countryballs, are a common way of ironic narration about historical events, national stereotypes or the geopolitical situation.

During the game, the player’s country ball moves from one location to another, overcoming arcade levels by jumping, accelerating and hitting objects or the enemy – other balls. Following the canons of the genre, based on the legendary games like SuperMario or Sonic, at the end of the level, the player is waiting for the boss, to which you should pick up a special tactic to go to the next location.

The game supports multiplayer, in which up to four people can play at the same time. Some levels are designed for the passage of at least two. The atmosphere of dynamic adventure and light humor will serve as a great pastime in the company of friends.
