The Peterson Case (formerly known as Once upon a time in Roswell) is a first-person psychological indie horror game in which the player assumes the role of a detective investigating the mysterious disappearance of a family in Roswell in 1947. Initially, the project was supposed to be released at the end of 2021, but faced the need for improvements, and at the beginning of 2022, the date of its appearance on the market remains unknown.

The protagonist, sorting through the papers on the table, suddenly finds a note about a strange incident. The entire Peterson family is missing, and there is no trace, no evidence, no reason for this incident. But people don’t vanish into thin air. There must always be something left to unravel. With such thoughts, the hero is going to Roswell, full of intention to unravel this mystery.

Arriving at the family mansion, the detective is faced with something he did not expect to see. The footprints lead him not only deep into the history of the family, but also make him face his own fears, memories of the war, and wonder who he really is. The game is filled with a viscous atmosphere of family secrets and horror that wants to take from the hero perhaps even more than life.
