Sailors: Age of Corsairs is an indie project from Crimson Lion Entertainment that takes you back to the Caribbean during the seventeenth century. The game is a sandbox with elements of real-time strategy, economic strategy, action, sea battles and colony building. Age of Corsairs was announced in early 2022, with no release date or early access date announced.

The player assumes the role of the captain of a ship that ends up in the Caribbean. From now on, he can choose which way to go. There are three development paths in the game – you can become a pirate, a merchant, or join the fleet of one of the colonial powers. Each of the paths has its own advantages and disadvantages, and each faction has its own ultimate development goal and features of influencing local politics.

One of the main gameplay features is ship resource management and crew management. If the sailors on board are hungry, intimidated or lazy, the voyage will not be long. In addition, you will have to participate in naval battles, enter ports, explore the waters, islands and coasts of different countries, establish trade and cooperation with representatives of different forces.
