Wonder Woman is a project announced at The Game Awards 2021, the exact release date of which remains unknown. A separate “chip”, which is announced in “Wonder Woman”, will be the studio’s own development – the Nemesis system. This system was already used earlier in the game Shadow of Mordor back in 2014, however, due to the genre limitation and the lack of performance of home computers at that time, it worked there with significant limitations. In the Wonder Woman project, the studio plans to fully implement its development.

The Nemesis system is a special algorithm for calculating the player’s interactions with different game units. For example, in Shadow of Mordor, it was implemented in a stripped-down version and was mainly a recalculation of the enemy’s strength: if the player coped with a stronger orc, low-ranking opponents received a damage bonus and became more dangerous. According to Monolith Productions, in the game Wonder Woman this system will affect both enemies and allies, and take into account a wide range of not only combat, but also social interactions with various characters. It is expected that this will allow for a more realistic and thoughtful way to redistribute the balance of power in the game, which will make the project more non-linear and add high replay value to it.
