Kakao Games is closing the global version of MMORPG ArcheAge

Following the paid version of the MMORPG ArcheAge, Kakao Games has decided to close the free version as well. The North American and European servers will be permanently shut down on June 27, 2024, and support will continue to operate until September 27.

The decision to close ArcheAge on the global market was made by Kakao Games together with developers from XL Games after a long discussion. The reason lies in the decrease in the number of players, which directly affects the experience of the game.

Unfortunately, ArcheAge does not provide refunds for real money spent. The authors refer to clause 7 of the agreement, according to which unused credits and purchased packages are non-refundable.

Let us remind you that MMORPG ArcheAge 2 is in development, which will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
