In the future, players in Mass Effect: Andromeda are introduced to two main characters at once: Scott and Sarah Ryder. They are each other’s blood relatives, brother and sister. Waking up after many years of hibernation, we will immediately understand that something has gone wrong as originally planned. Our ship has deviated from the course, as a result of which we find ourselves in an unknown location.
