The South Korean version of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty is preparing for the first server merge a little more than a month after its release. This event is scheduled for January 17 and will help maintain high player activity on the servers.
During the first broadcast of the developers, it was announced that preparations were already underway to merge the servers, as the initial excitement had subsided. As a result, out of 21 servers, 10 will remain: 18 servers with dropped online will be merged into 7, and the three most populated servers (DaVinci, Lunar, Stonegard) will not be affected by this event.
Players will retain all their items, progress and settings. Only the activity rating will be reset. Guilds will lose a little more: the rating, the players’ contribution to the guild, as well as the ownership of Boonstone and Riftstone will be reset. The name, level, history of issuing items, etc. will remain unchanged. All taxes collected over the past month from old servers will be summed up on the new servers.
