The South Korean rating agency found “adult” content in the action game Star Wars Outlaws

A South Korean ratings agency has given Massive Entertainment’s action role-playing game Star Wars Outlaws a “not for youth” (청소년이용불가) rating, which prohibits anyone under 19 years of age from playing. And this rating was given for just one point – “realistic simulation of speculative behavior.” The explanation states that “there is a mini-game with in-game bets and dividend content.” Perhaps we are talking about the card game flashed in the videos, known as Sabacc.

This point was the only one that raised questions from the supervisory authority, so you should not expect nudity, excessive cruelty, obscene language and various psychotropic drugs in the game.

Star Wars Outlaws is a game in the Star War universe in which players will visit various planets and plunge into the thriving criminal world of syndicates. From Ubisoft’s financial report for the third quarter, it became known that the project should be expected in the 2025 financial year, i.e. from April 2024 to March 2025.

It is worth noting that Ubisoft presented this project at the spring Future Games Show event, which may indicate the start of an advertising campaign.
