The developers of the popular series The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 are still planning to add support for multiplayer games to their projects. The constancy of the plans became known from the statement of the president of CD Projekt Adam Kicinski during his speech to investors.
“We plan to gradually add multiplayer features to both series in the future … We won’t be revealing which game will get multiplayer first, but it will be an attempt to learn from and then add such options to future games.”
Previously, CD Projekt announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will have a multiplayer mode in the manner of GTA Online after the release, but in March it became known that it was canceled. It is likely that the company has simply changed course and will soon be trying out another multiplayer option.
