Nvidia’s CFO Colette Kress recently confirmed early rumors that the shortage of GeForce RTX 3000 video cards is to blame for Samsung making GPUs for them.
It turned out that Nvidia was missing not only the GPU. In another interview, Kress said that there was also a shortage of substrates and several components. She did not specify which ones, but earlier, there was evidence that Nvidia lacks GDDR6X memory.
The source also adds that PC makers are already complaining about logistics problems and warn that they will worsen shortly, as IT market players will have to share this area with pharmaceutical companies. Next year, several vaccines for COVID-19 are expected to appear, and the world will have a boom in vaccinations, which will obviously radically change the field of logistics for a while.
