Mikey Dowling, director of communications at Obsidian Entertainment, has posted a lengthy article on the Xbox blog about survival sim Grounded. Mostly it was about the recently released major update Into the Wood, which brought with it a lot of changes, but there was also new information.
It became known that in total more than 10 million people played Grounded. Most likely, these include owners of the game on Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as users who downloaded it for free with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. The team thanked everyone for their support and released a special thank you video below.
In addition, the blog also mentioned the release version 1.0. Grounded is expected to leave the early access stage at the end of 2022, but there is no exact timeline yet. Until then, the project will continue to receive updates and content.
