Aftermath with additional content will be released in September

Saber Interactive announced the release date of World War Z: Aftermath – an updated version of the co-op shooter World War Z with additional content. The publication will be released on September 21, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The version for the current generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles will be available in 2022.

The developers call Aftermath the next step in the evolution of World War Z. The game will add new story missions that send players to Rome, the Vatican and the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia, new playable characters, new enemies and a new Vanguard class. Also, the melee mechanics will be improved, there will be a first-person mode and more.

By the way, with the release of World War Z: Aftermath, the PC version will no longer be exclusive to the Epic Games Store and will appear on Steam for the first time.
