The developers of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty have repeatedly stated that guilds are very important, and it is the game in a close-knit team that can give players all the possible content. And today we would like to talk in more detail about the content available specifically for guilds.
After completing the prologue, you will be asked to create a guild or join one of the already created ones. We recommend that you do not neglect this functionality and join an active and friendly team of players, especially if you know them and have been playing together for a long time. The sooner you join a guild, the faster you can receive bonuses from it.
At the first level, the guild accommodates 50 people, and at the maximum 30th level – 70 people. Passive skills become more valuable with each new guild level and provide an increase in experience gained, character protection and mana restoration.
Active guild skills can temporarily improve some character characteristics. For example, increase attack range, mana recovery, or damage to bosses. In addition, you can temporarily increase the gain of experience, solant (game currency) or summon a teleportation point for guild members. Each skill consumes resources that players contribute to the guild daily.
The number and quality of raids directly depends on the level of the guild. All raid bosses are analogues of world bosses. This also applies to archbosses, for example, Tevent and Queen Bellandir. The weekly limit is updated on Wednesday at midnight KST. The maximum number of weekly guild bosses that can be killed is six.
It is worth noting that each participant can die on the boss only 3 times, after which he will be teleported from the dungeon without the right to return. At the moment, the bosses are not particularly difficult for teams to play, but the developers have announced plans to add hardcore versions of this content.
In most cases, items obtained from bosses can be given only to guild members; only in rare cases, items can be put up for auction for sale.
World bosses and archbosses
World bosses are found in many locations, and the time of their appearance is strictly planned. It was originally intended that free PvP would always be in effect during their spawn. But over time, the developers moved somewhat away from their original plans. Now some boss appearances will not activate the PvP zone and anyone can take part in the killing. These bosses do not pose any big problems, and even 3-4 parties of the same level as the boss can easily kill them. But free PvP can bring a lot of difficulties, and in some cases, guilds or alliances can monopolize the farming of some bosses in PvP mode.
Archbosses are significantly stronger than normal bosses, and are expected to require many trained players to kill them. They differ not only in health and damage, but also in various behavior patterns and valuable rewards. Access to them will be opened gradually depending on the progress of the server, and the first archboss will be available in January 2024, approximately a month after the release of the game.
The rewards for these bosses boast rarity and value, and equipment can be distributed within the guild or sold at auction.
Boonstone and Riftstone
Boonstone is one of the captured points on the world map that provides useful buffs for all members of the guild and the guild itself. Each stone has a useful buff: bonus to attack, defense, critical chance or mana regeneration. In addition, the guild treasury receives the resources necessary to use active skills, and the guild rating is also awarded. There are currently 17 Boonstones in the game.
The main feature of Riftstone, in addition to the useful buff, is access to a daily guild boss. These stones are located near the places where world bosses appear, are named after them and allow the guild that owns the stone to kill these bosses every day in the “guild raid” mode. There are currently 8 Riftstones on the map.
It is worth noting that any guild can take part in the capture, and there are no restrictions on the number of participants in these events. The main thing is to arrive at the appointed time and capture the object, simultaneously fighting off other comers. In total, a guild can own one Boonstone and one Riftstone.
As an example, here are two videos from the Russian-speaking clans JustPlay and Chaos, playing on the Stonegard server.
Open World Events
The events in the game represent different versions of the “kill-fetch” scheme and do not carry any global mechanics. But as soon as PvP or GvG is added to this scheme, the game opens up. Dozens of clans, hundreds of players, constant skirmishes, the killing of competitors and the death of allies – this attracts the attention of many players. It is likely that over time this will get boring, but at the moment players are consistently participating in such events.
It is worth noting that in the GvG mode, points for fulfilling the conditions of the event are counted specifically for the clan, and all clan members receive a valuable reward. As an example, here is a video from the Kazar server, where players from Europe and America play.
The first castle sieges will take place in February, and subsequent updates will add cross-server PvP locations, in which guilds will certainly find use. But we’ll talk about this later.
